William V. McCamant, 62, of Montrose, Iowa, formerly of the Table Grove area, died Sunday, June 12, 2005, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 2, 1942, in Peoria, the son of Wayne and Wilma Hummall McCamant. He married Mary Rader Yoe on May 6, 1989. She survives.
Also surviving is his mother, Wilma Danner of Table Grove; two sons, John of the Quad Cities and Bill (and Jill) of Macomb; two daughters, Lori Robinson of Bushnell and Theresa McCamant of Table Grove; three stepchildren, Missy, Johnny and Joey; one sister, Marge Brown of Houston, Texas; five grandchildren; and three stepgrandchildren.
He worked for BTI Special Commodities in Des Moines, Iowa, and Case IH in Fort Madison, Iowa, for 17 years.
He was a member of the Montrose Volunteer Fire Department for 17 years.
Cremation has been accorded. Memorial services were held Saturday at Table Grove Community Church. Kost Memorial Home in Vermont was in charge of arrangements.
