Arlys R. Drawve, 70, of Rushville, died at 7:30 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 17, 1996, at her residence.
She was born May 15, 1925, in Washington, Iowa, a daughter of the late Harold John and Harriett Faulkner Myers. She married Lyle Drawve on Dec. 30, 1945, in Burlington, Iowa. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Kent Drawve of Rushville; one daughter, Mrs. Kenny “Diane” Ward of rural Huntsville; three grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; one nephew, Lerry Johnson of Germantown, Md.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Helen Shelter, and one brother, Richard Myers.
She worked as a bookkeeper retiring in March of 1989. She was a member of the First United Methodist Church of Rushville and Schuyler American Legion Auxiliary Unit #4.
Funeral services were held Friday at the Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Jerry Watkins officiating. Burial was in the Rushville City Cemetery.
Memorials may be given to the Culbertson Memorial Hospital.
