Philip C. Duncan, 82, of Lewistown, died at 11:13 a.m. Sunday, April 23, 1995, at Mason District Hospital in Havana.
He was born Dec. 1, 1912, in Duncan Mills, a son of Frank and Alice Coleman Duncan. He married Geraldine R. Baughman on March 26, 1938 in Palmyra, Mo. She preceded him in death on Aug. 3, 1985. He was also preceded in death by his parents.
Surviving are one daughter, Janet Duncan of Lewistown; two brothers, Robert Duncan of Vermont, and John Duncan, of Lewistown; and two aunts, Nina Hammond of Lewistown and Margaret Dorward of Etowah, Tenn.
He was a retired farmer, hving farmed most of his life in Isabel Township, Fulton County. He had also worked at Dana Corp. in Havana a number of years. After his retirement and until the time of his death, he did yard mowing for many Lewistown residents. He was an avid fan and supporter of Lewistown High School sports.
Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m. today at Henry Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Barbara Short officiating. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Lewistown Rescue Squad or Lewistown Community High School Booster Club.
