Ross S. Danner, 80, of Summum, died at 11:45 a.m. Friday, Jan. 19, 1990, at his residence.
He was born Sept. 4, 1909, in Woodland Township, Fulton County, the son of William W. and Callie (Shaffer) Danner. He married Kathryn Danner in December 1935 in Green County, Ill. She survives.
Other survivors include two sons, Kent Danner of Riverton and Kerry Danner of Trivoli; three grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Chester Danner of Astoria and Brayton Danner of Lincoln.
One brother and three sisters preceded him in death.
He was a member of International Laborers Union 253. He was employed at the Pfister Associated Growers plant at Astoria for 25 years.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at Shawgo Memorial Home of Astoria with Rev. Jim Comstock officiating. Burial was at Astoria Cemetery.
