He was born March 12, 1950, in Macomb, a son of Herbert and Charlene Andrews Crossman. He married Tana Danner on July 19, 1969, in Ipava. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Brett (and Jeff Dixon) Crossman of Dunlap; two brothers, Herbert (and Jean) Crossman of Vermont and Monte (and Becky) Crossman of Astoria; one sister, Elene Waters of Aledo; two grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He worked at Caterpillar Tractor Company for 30 years. He also was head of transportation at Midwest Grass and Forage Company.
He was a Vermont Village Board member for several years.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Inurnment will take place at a later date. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
