Alyce E. Creech, 73, of Vermont died at 2:10 a.m. July 18, 2010, at Graham Hospital in Canton.
She was born Nov. 15, 1936, in Savage, Mont., a daughter of Willard and Frances Mooney Cornn. She married Robert Howard Creech on Nov. 25, 1957, in Jonesville, Va. He preceded her in death on July 12, 2007.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers, Leroy Cornn and Carl Cornn.
Surviving are one son, Mike Creech of Vermont; one daughter, Sandy (and Dick) Bent of Browning; two sisters, Betty (and Kenneth) Lewis of Baxter, Ky., and Pat (and Ed) Hunter of Moweaqua; one brother, James Cornn of Belvidere; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
She worked at NTN Bower in Macomb and later at Zeta in Macomb.
She was a member of Vermont Rebekah Lodge for over 30 years.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Gary Sheets officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be in Vermont Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the donor’s choice.
