Randy Curless

Randy Dale Curless, 52, of Pekin died at 2:20 a.m. Monday, Feb. 17, 2003, at Pekin Manor.

He was born Feb. 22, 1950, in Peoria, a son of Ted K. and Ruby M. Simmons Curless. He married Hafida Mouissa on Oct. 12, 1970, in Jacksonville, N.C.

Surviving are his father of Pekin; one daughter, Jennifer Dorethy of Morton; one sister, Marsha (and Cary) Craven of Pekin; and one brother, Larry of Puerto Vallarta, Mexico.
He was preceded in death by his mother and one infant sister.

He was a Vietnam War Navy veteran.

He had worked in construction in the Pekin and Peoria areas for many years.

He was of the Baptist faith.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. today at Preston-Hanley Funeral Home, Pekin Chapel with Rev. Ronald Simmons Jr. officiating. Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery, where military rites will be conducted by Roy L. King Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1232.
