Hildreth G. Cassel, 94, of Browning died at 10:05 a.m. Thursday, Oct. 31, 2002, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Feb. 16, 1908, in Bader, a daughter of Edgar and Laura Jane Beam McLaren. She married Ralph E. Cassel on May 15, 1937, in Jacksonville. He died Aug. 27, 1975.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, one sister, one grandchild and one great-grandchild.
Surviving are one daughter, Lois (and Dickie) Morris of Bushnell; three sons, Keith (and Charlotte) of Raleigh, N.C., Dale (and Carol) of Pekin, and David (and Rita) of Astoria; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and five great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Bader Christian Church, Schuyler County Home Extension and Bader Ladies Aid.
Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Scott Neal officiating. Burial was in Bader Cemetery.
