Mary Sue Cassel, 70, of Lincoln, formerly of Astoria, died at 6 a.m. Thursday, July 10, 1997, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.
She was born Jan. 19, 1927, in Astoria, a daughter of Ray H. and Leta J. Anderson Cassel.
Surviving are two brothers, William Cassel of Astoria and Charles Cassel of Lady Lake, Fla.; and one sister, Lois Ann Moffitt of Plainfield.
Two brothers preceded her in death.
Graveside services were held Saturday at Astoria Cemetery with Rev. Collis Trone officiating.
Arrangements were by Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria.
