Virginia Crenshaw Of Mt. Sterling Dies

Mrs. Virginia R. Crenshaw, 43, of Mt. Sterling died at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville at 7:18 p.m. Sunday after a lingering illness.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. this afternoon in the Assembly of God Church in Rushville with the Rev. Lois Todd officiating. Burial will be in Lankford Cemetery.

Mrs. Crenshaw was born in Brown County April 29, 1926, the daughter of Thomas and Venie Chute Hendricks. She married Fred Crenshaw at Palmyra, Mo., Nov. 24, 1943, and he survives. She was a member of the Assembly of God Church at Astoria.

Other survivors include a son, Freddie Lee of Mt. Sterling; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Katherine) Burnside of RR 3, Rushville; five grandchildren; five brothers, Chester Hendricks of Mt. Sterling; Quentin and Melvin Hendricks of Rushville; Martin Hendricks of Oakland, Calif.; and Lyndie Hendricks of Carbon Cliff; four sisters, Mrs. Neva Hayes of North Carolina; Mrs. Juanita Crenshaw and Mrs. Verona Crenshaw of Browning; and Mrs. Nina Merrill of Astoria. She was preceded in death by her parents, an infant daughter, Linda Sue, two sisters and one brother.
