Oral Clanin, 78, Of Ipava Dies

Oral S. Clanin, 78, died at 10 a.m. Monday at his home in Ipava.

He was born in Ipava on Feb. 5, 1891, a son of William Henry and Clara Anetta Clanin. On Oct. 14, 1914 in Lewistown he was married to Zula May Bowen, who survives.

Also surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Virginia Nelson of Ipava; one brother, Aubrey Clanin of Table Grove; one grandson; and one great-grandson.

He was preceded in death by one brother and one sister.

Mr. Clanin was a member of the Ipava Christian Church where funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday afternoon with Rev. Lee Reffett and Rev. Darrell Harrison officiating. Burial will be in the Ipava Cemetery.

Visitation will be from 7 to 9 p.m. Wednesday evening at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont.
