Mrs. Alva Camp Answers Call

Mrs. Anna Catherine Camp, wife of Alva Camp, died Monday morning at her home on East Broadway. She had been in failing health for sometime with a heart ailment. She became seriously ill Sunday.

Mrs. Camp was born Oct. 5, 1885 in Browning township, a daughter of Henry and Susan Bair Benton. She was united in marriage to Alva Camp on October 5, 1901, who survives, together with two children, Mrs. Dorothy Curless of Astoria, Mrs. Winona Rittenhouse of Rushville, four grandchildren, also one brother, George Benton of Astoria.

Funeral services were held this afternoon at 2 o'clock at the United Brethren church, of which she was a member, conducted by Dr. C. W. Perkins, assisted by Rev. H. Sheldon Pattison. Burial was made in the Astoria cemetery.
