Robert Conner Answers Summons Funeral Sunday

Robert Conner died at the home of his son, Clayton Conner, north of Astoria, Saturday, following an illness of several months duration. Had he lived one day longer he would have been 71 years old.

Mr. Conner has been engaged in farming until the last few years. His entire life was spent in Fulton county. He was married three times. His first wife being Emaline Shore whom he married July 5, 1880. To this union nine children were born, three of whom with the mother have passed on. The surviving are: Mrs. Elmer McLaren of Ipava, Mary Conner of Astoria, Mrs. Carl Shaffer and Forrest Conner of Summum, Clayton Conner of Astoria and Delbert Conner of Canton.

… the Stevenson church. After moving to Astoria he united with the U. B. church of which he was a member at the time of his death.

His third marriage was to Miss Sarah Hess, who preceded him in death two years ago last February.

A short funeral service was held at the home of his son Clayton, north of Astoria, Sunday at 2:00 p.m., by the pastor Rev. W. R. Seitzinger and interment at the Hickory cemetery.
