She was born Sept. 28, 1928, in McDonough County, the daughter of Dale and Dorothy Frances Twyman Dean. She married Forrest D. Beaird on Nov. 3, 1948, in Geneseo. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Jeane of Traverse City.
Surviving is one daughter, Janis of Northport, Ala.
She was a cook.
A visitation will be held at a later date. Reynolds-Jonkhoff Funeral Home in Traverse is in charge of arrangements.
