Eva "Louise" BrownEva “Louise” Brown, 82, of Table Grove died at 1:55 p.m. Oct. 9, 2019, in Prairie City.

She was born May 10, 1937, in Birmingham, the daughter of Ralph and Ruth Roberts Potter. She married Merle Brown on Aug. 10, 1955, in Ipava. He preceded her in death on June 25, 2017.

She also was preceded in death by one brother, Leroy; infant son, Stephen; two grandchildren, Paul and Suzy Ritter; and one nephew, Tim Potter.

Surviving are one brother, Bob (and Judy) Potter of Monmouth; one son, Rick (and Ann) Brown of Table Grove; two daughters, LaMerle (and Jim) Czarnecki and LeAnna (and John) Ritter, both of Table Grove; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.

She was mostly a stay-at-home wife and mother in her early years. In her later years, she worked at Pioneer Seed Company in Good Hope during the harvest season.

She was a member of the Rebekah Lodge in Bushnell and TOPS IL #731.

Funeral services were held Saturday at the Dodsworth-Piper-Wallen Funeral Home in Macomb with Mike Ulmer officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery in Table Grove.
