She was born Feb. 13, 1924, in Strong, Ark. She married Sterling Barr on April 30, 1939, in Commerce, Texas. He preceded her in death on Jan. 19, 1993. She later married Thomas F. DeMoss on Dec. 22, 1999. He preceded her in death.
She also was preceded in death by one son, Sterling Max Barr; one daughter, Linda Diane Barr; and two granddaughters, Marcy Lefler and Terri Barr.
Surviving are her children, Dennis E. Barr of Duncan Mills, Rusty Barr of Lewistown, Toni Lutrick of Nashville, Tenn., and Angela Beard of Townley; nine grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; and several step-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, June 23, in Dumfermline at High Bridge Cemetery with Pastor Kevin Vantine officiating. A Celebration of Life will follow at the Red Roof Country Music Barn in Lewistown.
Memorials may be made in care of Angela Beard at the Prairie State Bank in Lewistown for burial expenses.
