Marcy LeflerMarcy J. Lefler, 41, of Lewistown died at 2:43 p.m. Sept. 22, 2010, at her home, after a battle with cancer.

She was born Sept. 30, 1968, in Havana, birth daughter of Fred Swope, adopted by Kenneth L. Lefler, and Toni Lefler Lutrick and Ron Lutrick.

Surviving are her children, Sira Derrera of Denver, Colo., and Frankie Derrera of Lewistown; one stepdaughter, Jenny; one God-given daughter, Jesse Stevenson; her mother and stepfather Toni Lefler Lutrick and Ron Lutrick of Nashville, Tenn.; one grandmother, Marcelle Barr De Moss; one grandfather, Tom De Moss of Lewistown; two sisters, Darcy Lefler of Nashville and Sarah Lefler Whitt; two grandchildren; and two step grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her birth father, adopted father, one grandfather, Sterling “Tex” Barr; grandparents, Harold and Jane Swope and Kenneth E. and Garnet Lefler.

She graduated from Lewistown Community High School in 1986. She completed LPN training and worked giving aid and comfort to others.

Services will be held at 11 a.m Tuesday, Oct. 5, at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Monday, Oct. 4, at the memorial home. Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown.
