Lori BucherLori L. Bucher, 53, of Havana died at 12:15 p.m. March 21, 2015, at her home.

She was born March 10, 1962, in Canton, a daughter of Jerry and Nina Goforth Scalf. She married Alvin Bucher on Dec. 5, 1991, in Astoria. He survives.

Also surviving are her mother, Nina (and Robert) Smith of Lewistown; two sons, Gary (and Sarah Brooks) Wallick of Astoria and Clinton (and Nicole) Bucher of Havana; one daughter, Shawna Wallick of Havana; one stepson, Issac Bucher of Peoria; one stepdaughter, Rachel Bucher of Pekin; two sisters, Linda (and Eldon) Chipman of Lewistown and Julie (and Jim) Bickle of Reynolds; and five grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jerry Scalf.

She was an LPN working at the Community Medical Clinic in Astoria for nearly 15 years. She then worked for the Havana Medical Associates the last five years.

She was a member of Illinois Street Christian Church in Lewistown.

Services will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Reverend Bob Miner officiating. Visitation will be held from 6-8 p.m. prior to the services. Cremation rites have been accorded.

Memorials may be made to an education fund for Haily Thornson and Preston Bucher at the Havana National Bank or Illinois Street Christian Church in Lewistown.
