William BurksWilliam BurksWilliam Glenn Burks, 74, of Kennewick, Wash., formerly of Missouri and Ipava, died Oct. 31, 2005, in Richland, Wash.
He was born May 30, 1931, in Wellsville, Mo. He had lived in Washington since 1954.
Surviving are his wife of 38 years, Shirley; one daughter, Ann (and Chad) Blackburn; five brothers, Bob (and Barbara), Leo (and Delores), Frank (and Sharon), Russell, and Walter (and Judy); and four granddaughters.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Edith; and one brother, Don.
He was a veteran of the Korean War.
He was an auto mechanic for many years before becoming an orchardist.
Services were held Nov. 4 at Einan's Funeral Home in Richland.
