Luther Harold Beck, 76, of Astoria died at 5:55 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 9, 2000, at Prairie View Health Care Center in Lewistown.
He was born June 1, 1924, in Novinger, Mo., a son of Frank and Lucinda Donnelly Beck. He married Virginia Briney on Feb. 12, 1950, in Astoria. She survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Lisa Beck of Bella Vista, Calif.; and two sisters, Ina May Reynolds of Astoria and Helen Cordell of Colchester.
Two brothers preceded him in death.
He was treasurer and manager of the International Harvester Canton Works Credit Union for 30 years.
He was a member of Astoria Church of Christ, where services will be held Sunday with Collis Trone officiating. He donated his body to medical science. Shawgo Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
