Betty L. Brubeck, 74, of Astoria, died at 11:45 p.m. Monday, Dec. 18, 1995, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born May 6, 1921, in Ipava, a daughter of Don and Eva Etter Jones. She married Paul S. Brubeck on Aug. 31, 1941, in Urbana. He died Oct. 3, 1990.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Larry (Susan) Lau of Morton and Mrs. Robert (Sally) Heier of Ft. Myers, Fla.; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and one sister, Margaret Blazevich of Phoenix, Ariz.
Services are pending at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria.

She was a member of the Astoria Christian Church and the Astoria American Legion Auxiliary. She was employed at Stevens Publishing Co. and Township Officials of Illinois.
Funeral services were held Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the Paul C. Brubeck Scholarship Fund in care of Farmers State Bank & Trust in Astoria.
