Sandra Marie Grover Beiermann, 46, of River Oaks Village, Springfield, died at 6:05 a.m. Monday, March 13, 1995, at her residence.
She was born October 8, 1948 in Canton, a daughter of Benjamin Dayton and Marjorie F. Shawgo Grover.
Surviving are her parents of Memphis, Mo.; one grandmother, Mrs. Joe “Eva” Grover of Memphis, Mo.; one daughter, Mrs. Terry (Jennifer L. Whitlock) Ross and two granddaughters, Lakin and Mackenzie, all of Roodhouse; three brothers, Larry E. (and Debbie) Grover of Washington, Roger L. (and Phyllis) Grover of Rockville, Ind., and Steven R. (and Linda) Grover of Burlington, Iowa; two sisters, Mrs. Jerry (Dixie K.) Stitt of Verona and Mrs. Donn (Susan M.) Klor of Buffalo; six nephews; seven nieces; three great-nieces; and one great-nephew.
She was a 1966 graduate of Astoria Community High School and has worked for the State of Illinois Comptroller’s office for the past several years. Her faith was non-denominational Christian.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Thursday at Bisch & Son Funeral Home, 505 East Allen, Springfield with Frank Porter, Dorne Garner and Rollie Sarver officiating. Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
Friends may also call from 2:30 until 3 p.m. on Thursday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Graveside services will be at 3:30 p.m. Thursday at Summum Cemetery.
