Miss Ione Bloyd, 63, of 415 S. Maple St., Lewistown, died at 9:03 a.m. Friday, Sept. 11, 1981, at Graham Hospital.
She was born April 6, 1918, in Lewistown, a daughter of Ralph and Kathryn (Sheets) Howerter.
Surviving are her father of Lewistown; two sons, Gary of Ipava and Jerry of Lewistown; three brothers, Kenneth Howerter of Lewistown, Ralph Howerter, Jr. and Rex Howerter, both of Havana; two sisters, Mrs. Donna Mitchell and Mrs. Jean Fernetti, both of Lewistown; a half brother, David Howerter of Lewistown; a half sister, Mrs. Melinda Wagner of Lewistown; and four grandchildren.
Bloyd retired in 1980 from her position as kitchen superintendent at the Clarytona Manor Nursing Home.
Services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Henry Memorial Home with Rev. David Meeker officiating.
