She was born Aug. 10, 1948, in Lewistown, a daughter of Ralph and Eleanora Benson Howerter. She married Leon E. Wagner on Aug. 27, 1966, in Lewistown. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Robert (and Lindsey) Wagner of Ipava; one daughter, JoEllen (and Rob) Williams of Cuba; three brothers, David (and Bonnie) Howerter of Lewistown, Richard (and Sylvia) Nicaise of Galesburg and Ralph (and Mary) Howerter Jr. of Havana; one sister, Juanita (and John) Chiovaro of Des Moines, Iowa; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, five brothers and three sisters.
Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Friday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Danie deBeer officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Thursday at the memorial home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
