Michael Ashcraft

Michael Aron Ashcraft, 37, of Rushville died at 11:25 a.m. June 13, 2013, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital Emergency Room.

He was born Nov. 3, 1975, in Rushville, a son of Richard E. "Rick" and Carolyne Howard Ashcraft.

Surviving are his parents; one son, Hunter Ashcraft of Columbus, Ga.; one daughter, Ava Ashcraft of Mount Sterling; two grandmothers, Ailene Ashcraft and Mary Jo David, both of Rushville; one brother, Jamie Ashcraft of Rushville; and three nephews.

He was preceded in death by one brother, Richard M. "Ricky" Ashcraft; and his grandfathers.

He graduated from Rushville High School in 1994 and served in the U.S. Army from 1996-99.

He was employed at Win Productions in Beardstown.

He was a member of Rushville First Christian Church (Disciples of Christ) and attended Rushville Church of the Nazarene.

Services were held Monday at Rushville City Cemetery with Rev. John Sowers and Rev. Fred Fritz officiating. Full military honors were performed by U. S. Army Military Honors Detail and Schuyler American Legion Post #4. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
