Ramona M. Anderson, 75, of Sunny Acres Nursing Home in Petersburg, formerly of Manchester, died Saturday, April 17, 2004, at St. John's Hospital in Springfield.
She was born Jan. 28, 1929, in Beardstown, a daughter of Roy and Freda M. Gutterman Brasel. She married Arthur J. Anderson on Oct. 28, 1945, in Beardstown. He died April 10, 2002.
She also was preceded in death by two brothers.
Surviving are one daughter, Kathy (and Larry) Rogers of Springfield; two sons, Danny (and Cristina) Anderson of Newport News, Va., and Roy David (and Pat) Anderson of Tucson, Ariz.; four granddaughters; one grandson; three great-grandsons; one sister, Wanda Williams of Jacksonville; and one brother, David Brasel of Orland Park.
She was a homemaker.
She was a member of the United Methodist Church of Beardstown.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service will be held at a later date. Mackey Daws Funeral Home in Roodhouse was in charge of arrangements. Condolences may be sent to the family at mackeydaws.com.
