Lavern I. Abbott, 81, of Macomb, died at 12:45 a.m. Saturday, March 22, 1997, at her residence.
She was born June 1, 1915, in Fulton County, a daughter of Harry and Irma M. Riebling Bricker. She married Robert Dale Abbott on June 16, 1937, in Bloomington. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Dale Eugene Abbott of Pekin; one brother, Milo Bricker of Vermont; three grandchildren; and one great-grandson.
One sister and one brother preceded her in death.
She was a member of Astoria Church of the Brethren.
Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. David Phillips officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
