William “Yogi” HamlinWilliam G. “Yogi” Hamlin, 70, of Rushville died at 9:24 p.m. Dec. 8, 2025, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville. He was born Feb. 27, 1955, in Peoria, a son of Earl and Emma Humphrey Hamlin. He married Sandra Robertson on Sept. 21, 1990, in Browning. She survives. Also surviving are one son, Joe Hamlin of Beardstown; one stepdaughter, Stephanie Bainter of Rushville; three stepsons, Chris Gouran of Lincoln, Neb., Shawn Gouran of Astoria and Michael Gouran of Yulee, Fla.; two sisters, Phyllis Santiago and Pat Jansen; one brother, Bob Hamlin; nine grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents. He worked as a laborer for several different Locals in the area. Cremation rites have been accorded. No services have been planned at this time.
