Robert AndrewsRobert Andrews, 94, of Macomb died at 10:55 p.m. April 9, 2024, at Macomb Post Acute Care.

He was born May 1, 1929, in Macomb, a son of Clifford and Bertha Bonwell Andrews. He married Linda Bedwell on Dec. 14, 1960. She survives.

Also surviving are his children, Bonnie Penzel of Arlington Heights, Alan (and Cheryl) Andrews of Macomb, Deanna Andrews of Carmel, Ind., and Debra (and Robert) Buck of Vermont; six grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Harold Andrews and Gaylord Andrews; and three sisters, Genevieve Holler, Margaret Ward and Lenore Salisbury.

He lived most of his life in the Macomb area where he worked for Haegar Pottery, McGraw Edison and then back to Haegar Pottery. He also worked as a farmer. He was an Army veteran serving from 1954-56.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the Argyle Bible Church with Pastor Samuel Kostreva officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the church.

Burial will be in the Argyle Bible Church Cemetery with full military rites being conducted by the Macomb American Legion and Macomb VFW. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
