Please check with teachers periodically to update needed supplies. All supplies should be labeled with name in permanent marker.

KINDERGARTEN

1 plastic school supply box, scissors (blunt tip), 3 boxes of 24 crayons, 1 dry erase marker, 1 package yellow pencils, 1 eraser, 16 glue sticks, 1 set of watercolor paints (Crayola or Prang), 1 wide-ruled spiral notebook, 3 plastic pocket folders, 1 box of 100 (or more) sandwich-type Ziploc plastic bags, 1 box gallon-size Ziploc plastic bags, 2 boxes of Kleenex, 1 container of “baby wipes”, Clorox wipes, 1 rest mat, tennis/gym type shoes (if not worn daily). Only label the scissors and watercolors with child’s name, all other supplies will be community supplies.

FIRST GRADE

2 boxes of 24 crayons, 20 pencils, 1 bottle of Elmer’s glue, 10 glue sticks, 1 highlighter, scissors, 1 box Crayola basic markers, Crayola or Prang watercolor paints, school supply box, 4 pink erasers (rectangle not pencil tip), earphones (over the ear-no earbud), 1 container of baby wipes, 1 container Clorox wipes, 1 box gallon Ziploc bags, 2 boxes of Kleenex, 3 composition notebooks, 2 green pocket folders, 2 blue pocket folders, tennis/gym-type shoes for PE.

SECOND GRADE

2 24-pack of crayons, colored pencils, 2 packs of pencils, 2 large bottles of Elmer’s glue (no colored), 2 boxes of tissues, 1 box of wet wipes, 1 container Clorox wipes, scissors, ruler with both standard and metric measurements, school box for above supplies, 2 erasers, 6 glue sticks, 1 box Ziploc sandwich bags, 3 composition notebooks, 5 folders with 3-prong holder in center, headphones (over the head — not earbuds) and tennis shoes for PE and recess (if not wearing tennis shoes to school).

THIRD GRADE

Large bottle of Elmer’s glue – not colored, 8 glue sticks, 48-pack of crayons (Crayola), 4 packs of #2 pencils, 3 pink erasers, a hand-held pencil sharpener, sharp cutting scissors, 1 watercolor paint set, 12- or 24-pack of colored pencils (Crayola), 2 large boxes of Kleenex, 2 packages of wide-ruled loose-leaf paper, 1 ruler with standard and metric measurements (not bendable), school supplies box (no bigger than 10x8), 3 wide-ruled composition notebooks (no easy tear-out pages) — green, blue, orange, yellow (plain colors only), 1 box of Wet Wipes and Clorox wipes, 3 sturdy pocket folders (different colors) (one needs to be red with 3 holes to be able to put in a binder, 1 1-inch black binder, tennis shoes for PE and recess, headphones. No trapper keepers or ink pens. We do not use these items and they will be sent home if they come to school.

FOURTH GRADE

12-pack of colored pencils, 24-pack of crayons, 1 small bottle Elmer’s Glue (no gluesticks), 2 packages of #2 pencils, 1 ruler with both standard and metric units, 1 pair of scissors, 1 school supply box (no bigger than 10x8), pencil top erasers or pink school erasers, 2 large boxes of Kleenex, 1 box of gallon-size Ziploc bags, 1 box of quart-size Ziploc bags, 2 containers antibacterial wipes, 1 container regular wet wipes, 1 folder for music (your choice), 6 wide-ruled spiral notebooks (no college ruled), 6 heavy-duty vinyl 3-prong folders (please make sure you have at least one red, one green and one blue) 2 packages of wide-ruled loose-leaf paper. If not wearing tennis shoes to school, a pair will be needed for PE and recess. (The teacher believes in all students using the supplies they bring, but please do not write on the spiral notebooks or folders.) We will do that at school. Please do not send items that are not listed as we have no place to store them. They will be sent home. Ink pens, mechanical pens and binders are not used and will be sent home.

FIFTH GRADE

4 sturdy or plastic folders, 2 packages of loose-leaf (wide-ruled) notebook paper, 4 Composition books (wide-ruled) any color, 2 boxes of Kleenex, 1 container of Clorox wipes, pencils, pens, 1 pencil pouch or box

2017–18 ART SUPPLIES

• Kindergarten — both classes: 9 x 12 Watercolor paper pad
• First grade — both classes: Acrylic craft paint – small bottle of each color (white, black, red, orange, yellow, green, blue and purple)
• Second grade — washable markers and bamboo skewers package
• Third grade — Mrs. Jansen’s class: Baking Soda and gallon baggies; Mrs. Hampton’s class: Cornstarch and crayons 24-count
• Fourth grade — Aleene’s Tacky Glue – 8 ounces
• Fifth grade — clear packing tape

Every student should have the following items to use for art: 1-inch 3-ring binder, pencils, crayons 24-count, scissors, Elmer’s Glue-All, cleaning wipes, tissues, quart baggies
