KENNETH L. ZEISSET

Kenneth ZeissetKenneth L. Zeisset, 66, of Edwardsville, died Nov. 27, 2016, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.

He was born Aug. 6, 1950, in Breese, a son of Edward and Marion nee Eaton Zeisset.

Surviving are three brothers, Michael L. (and June) Zeisset of Belleville, Richard W. (and Judy) Zeisset of Granite City and Thomas M. (and Diane) Zeisset of Mascoutah; and two sisters, Marion N. Zeisset of Astoria and Catherine A. (and Warren) Fisher of Saint Jacob.

He was preceded in death by his father, Edward Lawrence Zeisset; his mother, Marion N. Zeisset nee Eaton; and one brother, Jerome Zeisset.

He was born in Breese and at a young age his family moved to Quercus Grove in rural Madison County. It was there he grew up and attended Edwardsville School. He graduated Edwardsville High School in 1968.

He joined the U.S. Army and served in Vietnam.

He attended one year at McKendree College. He started working at Olin Brass in East Alton and worked there until his retirement.

He was a member of St. John Methodist Church in Edwardsville.

Visitation will be held from 9:30-11 a.m. Saturday at Dauderman Mortuary in Alhambra. Memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Dauderman Mortuary in Alhambra with Rev. Richard Smallie officiating. Burial will be at Quercus Grove Cemetery in Edwardsville at a later date.

Memorials may be made to American Heart Association.
