Hazel Ziehr, 71, of Assumption, died at 12:30 p.m. Wednesday, Feb. 5, 1997, at her place of residence.
She was born April 18, 1925, in Chicago, a daughter of Benjamin and Inez Hamilton. She married William R. Ziehr on April 18, 1944.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Junior (June E.) Edwards of Browning, and Mrs. Charles (Inez K.) Rowcliffe of Assumption; nine grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Laura Carlson of Campus.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband and several step-children.
