She was born March 31, 1928, in Wabash County, Ind., a daughter of John P. and Easter May Riggle Ulery. She married Robert O. Younker on May 19, 1962, near Denver, Ind. He survives.
Also surviving are one sister, Betty May Houk of Peru, Ind.; a very dear friend, Judy Quinn of Camden; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by one brother, John Charles “Dub” Ulery.
She worked for Hamm and Kennedy Real Estate in Rushville and was bookkeeper for Richard Fulks several years before retiring.
She attended Friendship Primitive Baptist Church in Winchester and was a life member of the John Birch Society.
A celebration of her life will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Elder Jim Ridings officiating. Burial will follow at Stoneking Cemetery in McDonough County.
Memorials may be made to her church, Zoar Primitive Baptist Church in Mattoon or Smyrna Primitive Baptist Church in Bentley.
