Lesley Yankey Of Adair Dies

Lesley Yankey, 88, of Adair died at 1:40 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 8, 1975, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.

Mr. Yankey was born Feb. 14, 1886, in Springfield, Ky., the son of Thomas and Kathryn Key Yankey. On June 26, 1927, he married Eva Burnhart in Macomb. She died on July 3, 1974. He was a retired farmer.

Mr. Yankey is survived by a stepson, Frankly A. Raby of Moline; a half brother, Joseph Young of Kansas; a half sister, Mrs. Mattilee Thomlinson of Rushville; four stepgrandchildren; and five great-stepgrandchildren.

Two brothers and one half brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday morning at Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with Rev. W. Landers Gutel officiating. Burial was in Pennington Point Cemetery.
