Mrs. Eva Yankey Of Adair Dies

Funeral services for Mrs. Eva Mae Yankey, 88, of Adair, were held at 2 p.m. Saturday at the Kost Memorial Home in Vermont. She died at 8:45 p.m. Wednesday, July 3, 1974, at her home. Rev. W. Landers Gutel officiated and burial was in the Pennington Point Cemetery.

Mrs. Yankey was born in Bardolph on Oct. 8, 1885, the daughter of Jake and Esther Marrow Burnhart. She married Wheeler Raby in 1903. He died in 1925. She then married Lesley O. Yankey in Macomb on June 26, 1927. He survives.

She was a member of the Methodist Church in Adair, Past Matrons Club and Laurel Star Chapter of Eastern Star at Table Grove.

Also surviving is one son, Franklin A. Raby of Moline; four grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Mrs. Lucy Woerly and Miss Nell Burnhart, both of Macomb and one brother, George Burnhart of Macomb. One daughter, two sisters and four brothers are deceased.
