He was born June 3, 1951, a son of Merrill and Esther Brown Wright. He married Sally Neal on Feb. 14, 2004. She survives.
Also surviving are three children, Kyle (and Elise Carey) Wright, Kevin (and Rachel) Wright and Jenny (and Matt) Ashby; two stepchildren, Julie (and Scott) Schroer and Janell (and Kamal Kishore) Phan; three siblings, Roger (and Connie) Wright, Leon (and Deborah) Wright and Connie Sue (and Jerry) Nelson; five grandchildren; and four step grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
He worked as an electrician for ATS.
The funeral service was held Sunday at Davison-Fulton Woodland Chapel in Peoria. Burial was at Parkview Cemetery.
