He was born Dec. 8, 1961, in Rushville, a son of Donald Louis and Carolyn K. Rose Watson. He married Sara J. Powell on Aug. 30, 1997, in Astoria. She survives.
Also surviving are three children, Brian (and Dorothy Wartenbe) Todd of Springfield, Preston Riley (and Madison Conner) Watson, stationed in Germany and Kenley Elizabeth (and Aaron Miller) Watson of Browning; one brother, Donald (and Becky) Watson Jr.; one sister, Melissa (and Chris) Shaw; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents.
He was a third generation mechanic, owning and operating Curly’s Auto Repair in Astoria. His family owned the business, started by his grandfather, since 1954.
Graveside services were held Friday at Astoria Cemetery. Hurley Funeral Home in Havana was in charge of arrangements.
