Harvey Westcott

Harvey Milton Westcott, 74, of Rushville died Nov. 27, 2021, in Mount Sterling.

He was born Dec. 17, 1946, in Ottawa, a son of Lyle and Helen Smith Westcott. He married Debbie Gossage on April 6, 1973, in Rushville. She preceded him in death.

He also was preceded in death by his parents; one son, Francis; one brother, Michael Westcott; and several aunts and uncles.

Surviving are one son, Matthew (and Nicole) Westcott of Rushville; one sister, Joyce (and Rick) Gargano of Morgan Hill, Calif.; one grandson, Maddox Westcott of Rushville; and several nieces and nephews.

He was a truck driver nearly all his life after serving in the Army during Vietnam. He was a hobby mechanic.

Private graveside services will be held at a later date.
