She was born Aug. 26, 1955, in Beardstown, a daughter of Jack and Betty Weishaar Winston. She married Jerry Behrens on April 23, 2021, in Bloomington. He survives.
Also surviving are one sister, Christy (and John) Chubick of Bloomington; three nieces, Shelly Toland of Oakland, Fla., Jenn (and David) Ziemer of Normal and Kayla (and Joshua) Smith of Danvers; and four grandnieces.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
She was a clerk for Illinois Secretary of State offices in Beardstown and Macomb offices, and retired after many years of serving in the offices.
She attended The Eastview Christian Church in Normal.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service was held Saturday at Browning Cemetery with Pastor Brenda Wessel officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
