She was born March 22, 1942, in Johnston City, a daughter of William and Ruby Marie Throup Keene. She married James Edward Waters in 1987. He passed away in September of 2007.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, William Keene.
Surviving are two daughters, Lorrie DeLozier and Brenda DeLozier, both of Macomb; one son, Michael (and Carrie) DeLozier of Kansas City, Mo.; three sisters, Betty Cooper of Macomb, Jean VanGetson of Woodhull and Tammy Conners of Arkansas; four grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She lived in Carthage, Table Grove and Florida before moving to Macomb. She worked in the home healthcare field. She attended the Crossing and donated to the March of Dimes.
Cremation rites have been accorded. Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, Aug. 6, at Harris Cemetery west of Table Grove with Reverend Cody Stinnett officiating. There will be no visitation. A Celebration of Life will be held immediately following the services at Vermont Christian Church. Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb is in charge of arrangements.
