Dorothy “Eloise” (Bucy) Workman, 90, of Astoria died at 8:14 a.m. July 30, 2016, at Havana Healthcare Center.
She was born March 9, 1926, in Fulton County, a daughter of Charles and Lena Grissom Bucy.
Surviving is one nephew, Terry Scrogum.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Rosalie Bucy Scrogum.
She was employed by the Illinois Department of Corrections.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Astoria Cemetery with Pastor Gary Sheets officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
