Glenn Earl Worthington, 75, of Table Grove died at 9:05 p.m. Dec. 19, 2013, at his residence.
He was born Nov. 15, 1938, in New Philadelphia, Ill., a son of William B. and Elizabeth Hutchins Worthington. He married Vivian Rutledge on Nov. 2, 1964, in Lewistown. She survives.
Also surviving are his children: Paula (and Dan) McKee of Smithfield, Stacey (and Lisa) Worthington of Bushnell, Heather (and Brian) Asher of Prairie City, and Jacob and Mike Worthington, both of Table Grove; three siblings Leland (and Wilma) Worthington of Marietta, Leonard Worthington of Bushnell and Opal (and Jim) Heaton of Astoria; six grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two brothers, William “Billy” and Bernard Worthington; and four sisters, Dorothy Schmidt, Genevie Westlake, Juanita Theobald and Joann Clauson.
He worked 36 years for Village of Table Grove and also farmed.
Services were held Dec. 23 at Martin-Hollis Funeral Home in Bushnell with Pastor Dwight Taflinger officiating. Burial was in Point Pleasant Cemetery in rural Marietta.
