SYLVIA SUE (DANNER) WISE

Sylvia Sue Wise, 65, of rural Roseville died at 8 a.m. Friday, April 18, 2003, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.

She was born June 25, 1937, in Astoria, a daughter of Harry Wayne and Susan Augusta Siler Danner. She married Frankie Lee Wise on April 7, 1954, in Carthage, Mo. He died April 22, 1996.

She also was preceded in death by three sisters.

Surviving are two sons, Harry "Butch" (and Cindy) and Kevin (and Tina), both of Roseville; one daughter, Margaret (and Sam) Valley of Roseville; three sisters, JoAnn Parr and Rose Davis, both of Astoria, and Betty Frye of Roseville; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

She was a secretary for Bader Elevator Co. in Swan Creek from 1970 to 1998.

She had been a den mother for the Cub Scouts and Webeloes in Vermont and was active in the Boy Scouts in Roseville.

Graveside services were held Tuesday at Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. James Oliver officiating. Corman Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
