She was born Sept. 30, 1927, in Astoria, a daughter of Harry W. and Sue A. Siler Danner. She married Cecil R. “Bud” Davis in October of 1946. He died July 10, 1971.
She also was preceded in death by one infant daughter, Cheryl Davis; five sisters, Margaret Richardson, Shirley Bollinger, Joan Parr, Sylvia Wise and an infant.
Surviving are one daughter, Becky (and David) Renner of Farmington; one son, Dave (and Teresa Gillham) Davis of Astoria; one sister, Betty Frye of Swan Creek; six grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
She worked for Vermont Foundry for 45 years.
She was a member of Astoria American Legion Post #25 Auxiliary.
At her request, cremation has been accorded. There will be no visitation and private services will be held. Inurnment will be at Astoria Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
