Patricia JoAnn Welker, 60, of Astoria died at 2:10 a.m. Friday, Feb. 16, 2001, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born June 5, 1940, in Havana, the daughter of Fred and Margaret DeMoss Rairdan. She married Franklin J. Welker on Dec. 3, 1956. He survives.
Also surviving are one daughter, Bonnie (and Delmar) Clark of Ipava; two sons, Bruce (and Ranae) Welker and Billie (and Traci) Welker, both of Princeville; nine grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, and her mother Dena DeMoss Jones.
She worked for L.R. Nelson in Peoria and Princeville for 10 years.
She was a member of Astoria Christian Church.
Services were held Monday at her church with Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in Summum Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria was in charge of arrangements.
