Dena Virginia Jones, 74, of Astoria, formerly of Colona and Green Rock, died at 8 p.m. Monday, June 14, 1999, at her residence.
She was born Sept. 12, 1924, in Bernadotte, a daughter of Margaret DeMoss. She married Clarence K. Koloa on March 16, 1951. He died in 1955.
She later married Harold M. Jones on Aug. 17, 1961, in Pekin. He died Oct. 31, 1987.
She also was preceded in death by her mother and her stepfather, Fred Raridan.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Franklin (Patricia) Welker of Astoria; three grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandson.
She was a laundry supervisor at the correctional facility in East Moline and a member of Astoria Christian Church.
Services were held Friday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to the McDonough District Hospital Hospice or her church.
