Lloyd F. Williams, 92, formerly of Canton, died at 8:02 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 27, 1999, at Sunset Manor.
He was born April 4, 1906, in Mason County, a son of Marshall and Virgie Hines Williams. He married Alice G. Smith on Feb. 26, 1933 in Havana. She died March 4, 1993. He also was preceded in death by one grandson, two brothers and three sisters.
Surviving are two sons, Larry of Lewistown and Kenneth of Payson, Ariz.; one daughter, Mrs. Robert (Jeanette) Hulvey of Canton; eight grandchildren; 21 great-grandchildren; and one sister, Addie Cohee Wise of Lewistown.
He farmed in the Astoria and Canton area for many years. A member of Evangelical Free Church in Canton, he was a former longtime member of the Christian Church in Astoria.
Services were held Saturday at Murphy-Sedgwick Memorial Home with Rev. Curt Foss officiating. Burial was in Greenwood Cemetery.
