Richard D. Wagner, 68, of Astoria, died at 10:04 a.m. Sunday, Nov. 22, 1998, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.

He was born Sept. 6, 1930, in Macomb, the son of Theodore B. and Helen G. Wagoner Wagner.

Surviving are two aunts, Ferne Hofmeister of Stronghurst and Merle Lorton of Gladstone.

He was a Korean War Army veteran. He worked for the Army Corps of Engineers, retiring in the early 1980s from the LaGrange Locks.

Graveside services were held this afternoon at Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb with Rev. Gary Schultz officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home was in charge of arrangements.
