Ruth M. Wickert, 98, of Astoria, died at 3:10 p.m. Monday, Aug. 24, 1998, at Astoria Healthcare Center.
She was born Feb. 21, 1900, in Summum, a daughter of Martin and Mary Bucher Wickert.
Surviving are a number of nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by five sisters and six brothers.
She was a member of the Astoria Church of the Brethren. She was a rooming house owner and manager.
Services were held this morning at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Gary Schultz officiating. Entombment was in the Astoria Memorial Mausoleum.
Memorials may be made to the Astoria Church of the Brethren Building Fund.
