Lloyd Wilson

Lloyd D. Wilson, 75, of Canton died at 12:27 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 3, 1998, at Graham Hospital Extended Care.

He was born Jan. 13, 1923, in Baggs, Okla., a son of Edward and Martha Hankins Wilson. He married Mary Hooper. He later married Florence Smith on Jan. 14, 1961, in Canton. She survives.

Also surviving are two sons, Lloyd Jr. of Bardolph and Randy of Vermont, Ill.; one daughter, Janet Utsinger of Galesburg; one brother, Glenn of Tulsa, Okla.; two sisters, Edna Reed of Oregon state and Nanny Ralls of Mustang, Iowa; one niece, Shannin McAllister of Canton, whom he raised; eight grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Four brothers and four sisters preceded him in death.

He worked at Perkins Gardens in rural Canton and later was a drill press operator at International Harvester. He was a member of Loyal Order of the Moose 784.

Services were held Friday at Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton with Rev. Michael Stein officiating. Burial was in Oakwood Cemetery in Macomb.
